BAA Junior

The BAA Junior course aims to introduce students aged 10 to 17 to the academic method by adjusting the difficulty level of concepts to their age and abilities.

This method enables children and adolescents to enhance their Drawing and Painting skills under the guidance of experienced teachers. Engaging in autonomous activities nurtures confidence in young artists, empowering them to make individual decisions and choices—a quality immensely beneficial throughout their lives and careers.

Objectives

Our primary goal is to enhance young people's spatial understanding, develop new observation methods, and apply them to their artistic creations while promoting an appreciation for aesthetics.

Methodology

Through the academic method, students will explore structure, anatomy, light, form, color, material knowledge, and usage, with a focus on strengthening drawing skills as the foundation of artistic development. Each learning stage's objectives will be customized to individual student abilities.

Students will go through a variety of exercises including Bargues copies, still-life projects, and other exercises designed to help them draw and paint in a realistic manner.

Students will be encouraged to explore creativity while refining skills in perception, organization, discipline, imagination, teamwork, respect, and commitment.

Materials

Course materials are provided for first-time students. Advanced students will receive a confirmation email regarding the required materials.
