Please note that Spanish consulates require you to schedule an appointment for a visa application, and it usually takes between 10 and 40 days to process.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2757<\/span> <b>Important<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: The visa must be applied for from your country of origin. It is not possible to apply from within Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\"><strong>DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">Below are the required documents that you will need to submit to the Spanish embassy in the country of application.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">\u2014 Completed visa application form.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">\u2014 Valid passport (+ copy of all pages).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">\u2014 Two recent passport-sized photos<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">\u2014 Invitation letter from BAA for a full-time or part-time program (with a minimum of 20 teaching hours per week). We recommend contacting them directly to confirm the documentation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">\u2014 The additional documents required may vary depending on each consulate or the regulations of your home country.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>UPON ARRIVAL IN SPAIN: Applying for the TIE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">Once you have your long-term Type D visa in your passport and have arrived in Spain, you can apply for your TIE card.<br \/>\n<strong>You have a maximum of 30 calendar days to start the process of applying for the Residence Authorization for Studies and obtain the TIE (Foreigner Identification Card).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-family: Poppins, sans-serif;\">The TIE is a temporary residence permit valid for the duration of your studies in Spain.
