About Paloma.
Paloma Argibay Marchand was born in Vigo (Spain) in 1994. After a period of independent research and technical development, she trained at the Barcelona Academy of Art to consolidate her academic foundation, refine her technique, and immerse herself in three-dimensional exploration. Her inspiration stems from a deep fascination with nature and its forms, which she sees not merely as an aesthetic refuge, but as an ongoing dialogue between strength and fragility.
In her creative process, she seeks a balance between academic precision and the freedom of organic intuition. She begins with everyday scenes and my immediate surroundings, yet she enjoys altering reality by introducing natural elements, abstract gestures, and subtle details that disrupt literal representation. For her, sculpting is a way of transforming the ordinary into something deeply sensitive and poetic, where every material and volume celebrates both the resilience and delicacy of existence.
