About Ignacio.

Ignacio Carmona trained at the Esteban Lisa Foundation from 2013 to 2019 under the guidance of Isaac Zylberberg, with whom he maintained a close artistic and pedagogical relationship. During this period, he began his studies in aesthetic education through Lisa’s philosophical approach to painting, in which artistic practice extends beyond technical execution to encompass a broader understanding of perception, thought, and experience.
 
He later moved to Europe, where he continued his training within the academic tradition at the Barcelona Academy of Art, deepening his study of drawing and painting from life.
 
Based in Barcelona, he works from his studio with a particular focus on the human figure and portraiture from life. His work is held in private collections and has been exhibited regularly in Europe and the United States.
