About Elliot.

Elliot Manresa was born in Callosa de Segura, Alicante.
 
He graduated in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2015 and began his career by blending his development of a unique pictorial language with a deep interest in biology. This interdisciplinary approach led him to collaborate with the Science Museum Cosmocaixa. During this period, he broadened his artistic repertoire by acquiring skills in digital illustration and participating in various courses guided by one of his key influences, Antonio López.
 
In 2022, he enrolled in the BAA Painting Program to refine his technical expertise, successfully completing his studies in 2024.
 
Manresa’s artistic work is a reflection of his inner world—his thoughts, concerns, preferences, and anxieties—centering primarily on portraiture and the human figure. He explores themes such as identity and the fragility of existence, often weaving in his fascination with mythology through a contemporary lens.
 
Currently, he teaches in the Drawing and Painting Program at the Barcelona Academy of Art.
