We're very excited to announce our collaboration with Rosemary & Co Artist Brushes to create the official Barcelona Academy of Art Brush Set!
Designed around the BAA program and carefully selected by our faculty, this set brings together the essential brushes we use daily at the Academy. ‘Alamà i la Barcelona Academy of Art’ és una exposició que neix de la trobada entre la trajectòria pictòrica de Jordi Díaz Alamà i el projecte pedagògic de la @barcelona.academyofart, acadèmia que va fundar fa més d’una dècada a Barcelona i que està dedicada a l’ensenyament del dibuix, la pintura i l’escultura dins de la tradició realista i figurativa.
La mostra reuneix una selecció d’obres d’Alamà juntament amb peces de professors i alumnes de la BAA, oferint una mirada sobre la creació artística, la transmissió del coneixement i l’aprenentatge dins d’una comunitat d’artistes de projecció internacional.
La mostra es presenta al Castell de Benedormiens, a Castell d’Aro, seu del Cicle d’Exposicions d’Art i un espai de referència per a la difusió de l’art contemporani al municipi.
Comissariada per Albert Font Martí, l’exposició es pot visitar al Castell de Benedormiens · Castell d’Aro fins al 27/09/2026.

Alamà and the Barcelona Academy of Art’ is an exhibition born from the convergence of Jordi Díaz Alamà’s painterly career and the educational mission of the @barcelona.academyofart—an academy he founded over a decade ago in Barcelona, dedicated to teaching drawing, painting, and sculpture within the realistic and figurative traditions.
The exhibition brings together a selection of works by Alamà alongside pieces by BAA faculty and students, offering insight into artistic creation, the transmission of knowledge, and learning within an internationally renowned community of artists.
The show is presented at the Castle of Benedormiens in Castell d’Aro, venue for the Art Exhibitions Cycle and a benchmark space for the promotion of contemporary art in the municipality.
Curated by Albert Font Martí, the exhibition can be visited at the Castle of Benedormiens · Castell d’Aro until September 27, 2026.
