Silvia Juez Linares was born in Barcelona, where she displayed a strong interest in art, particularly painting, from a young age.

At the age of 19, she was accepted into the Fine Arts faculty in Barcelona, where she discovered sculpture. There, she experimented with various techniques and materials within this field. During her studies, she realized the power of the human figure to express the world around her. As a result, upon completion, she decided to study at the Florence Academy of Art, where she learned the necessary techniques to draw and model, interpreting reality as accurately as possible.

In recent years, she has been a finalist in the “Figurativas 2015” competition (MEAM), received an Honorable Mention in the 12th International ARC Salon Competition, was a finalist in the 13th International ARC Salon Competition, and reached the finals of the 53rd Reina Sofía Painting and Sculpture Award. Her work can be found in various public and private collections in Spain and Italy.

Currently, she is directing the Sculpture program at the Barcelona Academy of Art.
